Make it easy for your seasonal subscribers to suspend and reactivate their accounts. To configure self-suspension and reactivation:
- Open the Settings window and go to the Subscriber Portals → Account Manager panel.
- Click on Allow subscribers to suspend their own packages/account to enable package suspension by subscribers.
- Click on Allow subscribers to reactivate their own packages/account to enable reactivation of suspended packages by subscriber (but only if they are not past due).
- Click Save.
Both settings are optional -- one may be enabled while the other remains disabled. If only the Allow subscribers to suspend their own packages/account option is checked, subscribers will be able to suspend their own package but will not be able to reactivate it themselves after suspension. When only the Allow subscribers to reactivate their own packages/account option is checked, subscribers will be able to reactivate their suspended packages but they will not be able to suspend them on their own. Once the features are enabled, subscribers may go to the Packages tab of the Account Manager and click on the Suspend Package button to suspend the currently selected package. If the Allow subscribers to reactivate their own packages/account option is enabled, the subscriber will be able to see the Reactivate Package button for the selected suspended package in the Packages tab of the Account Manager, which can be used to reactivate the currently selected suspended package.
