Ways to open the Equipment Manager window
- Go to Tools > Equipment Manager;
- Click on the Equipment Manager icon on the Toolbar;

- Go to the Tower Locations tab and select the tower location you would like to edit. The lower part of the window will then show that equipment’s details. This is where you can make your changes (except for the location, as this refers to the location of the tower your equipment is associated with; thus, you can edit the location only in the Tower Locations tab).
In the Equipment List panel (lower left part of the window), you can see the name of your equipment. This is selected by default, and you can see the basic details about this equipment such as its make and date of provision. You can edit these details directly in the fields here.
Don’t forget to save your edits using the Save button above the fields.
Back in the Equipment List panel, the item Mapping is also listed. When you select Mapping, you can then see and edit the way this equipment is plotted in your integrated Google Map. Here are some pointers you might need:
Azimuth — This indicates, in degrees, the position of your equipment relative to the North. You can read an in-depth explanation here.
Range — This indicates the distance limit that the equipment’s signal can reach, and is specified in either miles or kilometers.
Color — This is the color used to represent the radius of your equipment on the map.
Elevation — This is the location height of your equipment, as expressed in feet.
After you’ve made your changes in Mapping, click Save. You’ll then be able to see your map with the newly edited equipment — just click on the Generate topographical coverage button.
Deleting a Tower Equipment
- Go to the Tower Equipment tab and select the tower location you would like to delete then click on the Delete button.
