Before you can receive payments in VISP, make sure that your merchant settings has been configured with one of the support payment processors -IPPay, Propay, Paypal, Authoirize.net, Stripe.
Select the subscriber. Click on the Statements tab (lower section), and then click on the Receive Payments button.
A Receive Payment window will open. Verify that the name of the customer is shown on the Subscriber field.
By default, the subscriber's balance due is shown in the Amount field. You may edit the amount based on how much the subscriber wants to pay.
Take note that for credit card or e-check payments, it is crucial that the "Process Credit Card or ECheck Payment Now" option is checked.
From here, you can pull the drop-down and select the method of payment for the subscriber. For e-Check payments, you should save the e-check details first (Institution, Transit, Account numbers, and transaction code) in the Billing Options tab (lower section) before processing the payment.
Other methods available are Cash, Check, Credit Card, Money Order, or Other.
If the subscribers' credit card or e-check is saved on file, it will be the default payment method.
Once all fields have been filled out, you may click on the Post Payment button to process the payment. The Post and Print button, on the other hand, allows you to print a receipt after processing payments. A transaction ID is automatically generated by the merchant processor for e-check and credit card payments.
* Note: Credit card and e-check payments may take up to 72 hours to fully process through your bank.
